A Gathering of Men

Specifically a Graduation Gathering. ??????

The second online Awaken The Dragon 10-week program graduated this past Wednesday and I had decided even during the first run of the program that each graduation would be a gathering where all previous ATD graduates would be invited.

We danced, we laughed, we roared, we celebrated each other's victories, we shared important learnings, we were inspired by what men revealed, we connected with each other in a deeper way than ever before, we grew and we contributed.

I stayed up very late for two nights leading up to it in preparation by creating segments that were infused with heart, soul, celebration and fun. Was so worth it!

I came to a simple conclusion over a year ago that I would not bust my butt on anything unless it is something that can be leveraged and repeatedly used, therefore have a lasting impact.

I knew that these graduations are incredibly important for the celebration and acknowledgment of victories across a deeply rewarding journey for men. Whatever I lay down here for this special night can keep the spirit alive for every graduation for years to come. I envisioned these graduations growing every year is obviously more graduates would then be invited to help celebrate the next generation of men coming through.

The mantra of the program is FIRE, FREEDOM, FULFILLMENT. The main theme of the graduation is to experience, be inspired by, acknowledge and fully celebrate the FREEDOM of Expression of these men. They're then sent off on a purposeful mission as the FULFILLMENT of Purpose. It took the FIRE of Courage to go through this journey in order to get to this point of discovering a personal truth and to experience freedom in expressing that truth. You can't live purposefully until you've learned to live truthfully.

It's perhaps the deepest level of integrity and personal honor to discover and live by ones own values and code. That sets up a life of far greater authenticity and therefore real personal freedom.
