Gather & Dealership's Question Of Balance
If you do not recognize this album cover it is from the Moody Blues - A Question of Balance, one of the greatest albums of all time (in my opinion). It made me think of the "balance" dealerships face every day in selling vehicles vs. being compliant and secure in doing so. At this point it seems the scale is certainly tipped towards selling cars with minimal concern about losing the car to a fraudster (2.2 Billion in automotive losses in 2022) or violating state and lender requirements with insurance verification. Using license scanners and taking insurance cards at face value are the norm. Not entirely the dealer's fault as the available tools for them have been seriously lacking.
