GATE 2025 My Exam Journey and Lessons Learned
On February 15, 2025 (Saturday), I appeared for the GATE 2025 exam in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. I had prepared for the exam but was not fully focused, which made it difficult to answer many questions. The exam was much harder than I had expected, and I found it quite challenging. I had only gone through the concepts superficially, which was not enough to tackle the tough questions. Despite scoring only 19 marks, I gained valuable insights into the exam pattern and the level of preparation required to succeed.
I had studied subjects like Probability and Statistics, Linear Algebra, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, DBMS, and Data Warehousing in the past three semesters, but I realized that a deeper understanding is necessary to perform well. This experience has motivated me to prepare thoroughly and give my best in GATE 2026. I am grateful to Mr. Raja Ravi Shanker Sir, who encouraged us to take the exam. Next year, I will put in full effort and aim for a much better score!
