Gary O’Hanlon became executive head chef at The K Club in April after five years as head chef of The Condor at the world-famous Chateau du Coudreceau in France.
Originally from Donegal, O’Hanlon has been a frequent fixture on Irish TV screens since 2008 with appearances on MasterChef Ireland, Four Live, The Today Show, Late Lunch Live, The Six O Clock Show, and is the resident chef on ‘The Restaurant’.

Fitzpatrick Hotel Collection
Mark and Joseph Scott-Lennon, directors of the Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel, have announced the acquisition of the Woodenbridge Hotel & Lodge.
The Woodenbridge Hotel & Lodge becomes the second property in the newly named Fitzpatrick Hotel Collection, which aims to expand further in the coming years.
It is the first Irish Fitzpatrick Hotel in over 20 years and marks a significant milestone in the history of both establishments, joining one of Ireland's oldest hospitality families with the country's oldest hotel.
"We are excited to build on the hotel's legacy and create new traditions that reflect our values and vision for excellence,” said Mark Scott-Lennon.

Ireland’s Business Events Hubs
Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, Catherine Martin and Fáilte Ireland have announced a €1 million investment through the Platforms for Growth Gala Dinner Venues Investment Scheme.
The investment has been allocated to five projects to facilitate the development of gala dinner venues of scale in four of Ireland’s business events hubs - Dublin, Kerry, the Shannon Region and Galway.
"The overall objective of this focused capital investment scheme is to facilitate the development of ‘wow’ gala dinner venues of scale in Ireland’s premier business events hubs," said Paul Kelly, CEO of Fáilte Ireland.

1000 Weddings
Denise Meenaghan, wedding coordinator at Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa Sligo, organised her 1000th hotel wedding last month.

Glenlo Abbey Refurbishment
Glenlo Abbey Hotel & Estate in Galway has recently completed renovations on its deluxe rooms and suites just in time to welcome guests for the autumn season.
Over the past six months, substantial upgrades have been made to ten Corrib Deluxe bedrooms, ten Garden Deluxe bedrooms, a Junior Suite, three Grand Suites, and the Presidential Suite.
“It is tremendous to see our vision and delivery of the significant programme of enhancements come to light," said Rónán O’Halloran, general manager.
The design of the suites is influenced by the rich history of the main manor house, which dates to 1740.
