Before Howard Finkel, there was Gary Michael Cappetta.

A bright-eyed Jersey boy with a distinctive voice, Cappetta announced WWWF and WWF matches from 1974 until 1985. After a stint with the AWA on ESPN, he announced for NWA/WCW from 1989 until 1995.

Notice the years he left the two major wrestling companies: right before the Rock N Wrestling Era and right before the Monday Night Wars.
