Gartner says we are a Cool Vendor

Gartner, one of the world’s most renowned analyst firms, has included ProGlove in their latest Gartner “Cool Vendors in Manufacturing Industry Solutions” report. 

While this makes me incredibly proud, I would like to stress that this acknowledgement belongs to our customers as much as it does to us. Because without them none of what we accomplished in the last 18 months would have been possible: 

• We have not only extended our portfolio from a one product offering to a family of products, we have also reinvented the barcode scanner market. Extensive engagement and commitment to understanding our customers, and what they need to be successful, helped shape our roadmap. Our customers provided us access to their work environment and offered feedback on what worked, and didn’t, for their frontline employees. They guided us through their use cases onsite so that we could respond with the right solutions to address their needs in warehousing, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, and many other applications. 
• We are setting the pace of innovation in our industry: Not only are we building the smallest and lightest scanners, we also have developed state-of the art insight software and we equip our devices with a best of breed feedback option, including an integrated display. By providing guidance with all senses, we empower the frontline workers and make organizations more productive. Our solutions are more than a powerful device that makes picking, packing, storing, and sorting so much easier, it’s a part of our customer’s strategies for better operations. 
• We are transforming from a hardware-only to a hard- and software vendor. Our solutions are built to make an immediate impact and a tangible difference. We know our customers need advanced analytics based on operational data that reflects what is happening on the shop floor. Our solution is precisely that and more as it will provide means to monitor, contextualize, and provide actionable insights. 

 Yet what sticks out to me is that we have a powerful vision: The human workforce is at the core of everything we do. This vision is crucial for our culture and our strategy. Therefore, it provides consistency and stability. Because we have a foundation, a natural center which keeps us in balance and provides for direction. Even more so in these extraordinary times.  

Our philosophy revolves around our customers, their needs, and their challenges. So, we work closely with them to drive innovation. And rest assured – we are not done yet. Giving empowerment and strength to those who work with us and those who work for us is what sets us apart. To me that is what really makes us cool!
