Ganpati greetings and please save The Elephant

Gopal Gopalakrishnan Mindwork: This Ganesh Chaturthi, we bring you a very special initiative. This is a beautiful poem written and narrated by Geeta Gopalakrishnan, a true friend and supporter of WRRC's Captive Elephant Welfare Programme. She is joined by iconic actor Waheeda Rahman, veteran television star Ram Kapoor, well known conservationist and founder of Sanctuary Asia magazine Bittu Sehgal and by Maneka Gandhi, Cabinet Minister for Women & Child Development and a long time advocate for the rights of animals - who add their voices in a plea to save our captive elephants.

Hi Gopal, Indeed a nice poem written by Geeta. I missed attending the ITM convocation program last week, wherein you were the chief guest. I am a visiting professor to ITM and many of my students were awarded the MBA degrees. I am not surprised with my colleagues being highly admirable of your inspiring speech. You are my first Management Guru and I speak about you in the institute as my role model. Missed the opportunity to connect with you. Have sent you INVITE on Linkedin. Request you to accept and let me have your contact details. Warm regards, Devendra Asar 9004535645

A very moving poem that raises consciousness of a worthy social and humanitarian cause on a religious occasion. Every festival in the country must be used to incite collective action towards just causes that will make this world a better place to live in.
