The world over, and particularly in India, every fresh venture is coated with a ritual or prayer for everything to go well. This activity provides hope and fills the life of the person with faith and vigor to ensure success.?Newness represents vitality and hidden potential

By far the most mystical deity to be revered in this culture, Ganesha also makes it so intriguing and lovable. Worshipped before all others in the Hindu pantheon, Ganesha symbolizes good fortune. The deity is admired all over the east and in many countries not just in India.?Celebrated with colors and grandeur, some parts even celebrate a 10 day signifying the celebration?by bringing communities together on the occasion

Ganesha celebration represents the witness of the energy, the spirit, devotion of our tradition. Probably the only deity represented though various motif forms from the stroke of the brush to the representation through leaves to?idol form in various sizes and shapes representing themes, stories and what not. The symbolism has been deep in this culture than in other countries.

Another aspect of the deity’s significance in the tradition is the method of bowing post the prayers. During school days, the teachers instill discipline by using the method that was similar to bowing to the deity. This also triggers certain energy centers in our body. The meaning being that we remember the cause for the reprimand and would move away from similar activities. Today the form of instilling discipline has been completely moved with the modern school education.

The beauty of practicing the technique integrates the person to balance the body, mind and the energy.

Our modern practices keen to capitalize on everything have adopting the method in the form of Super Yoga. Today offered as a program to our Indian counter parts in the form of education to recollect the learnings in life. Times are changing!!!

In this culture, it is a tradition to offer specific offerings as a part of the ritual . One of the offering has been 21 different types of the herb leaves with natural & medicinal properties to instill in us the tradition to safe guard our environment. This is in addition to all the sweet offerings prepared as a part of the celebration!!!

The Ganesha idol prepared with unburnt clay and worshipped during the celebration also has another wonderful concept that imparts in us the understanding of life.

Our imagination in creating different forms and styles with mud (creation ) has also a deadline and ends after the festivities . The concept of dissolving the idol at the end of the festivities in a pond / waterbody has the understanding that at the end of our life we are dissolved in to mud ( earth ).

Understanding the concepts and utilizing for our self-development infuses a positive transformation for our development. The removal of all forms of negative traits like the ego, anger and instilling respect, humility , responsibility in all forms of life
