Gamma Ray Bursts Will Unlock Your Potential

Gamma Ray Bursts Will Unlock Your Potential

Have you ever hesitated? Then looked back to regret the fish that got away, the path you didn't take, the business choice that could now be bearing fruit.

The 'if only'.

The reason we hesitate is often that we worry of the consequences, paralyzed by the 'gravity' of the potential impact.

Well consider this.

Think of the detonation of a hydrogen bomb. Huge isn't it. colossal power! Doesn't it just leave such a huge imprint! Much more impact than one of our decisions.

Now think of a solar flare on our Sun. Each one is equivalent to millions of hydrogen bombs, in the blink of an instant. And they happen all the time.

Life goes on. As normal.

Now think of a gamma ray burst, the most powerful explosions in the universe, where 2 distant stars have collided, or a huge star has collapsed at the end of its life.

A gamma ray burst lasts seconds, yet in these seconds it generates more power than the Sun will emit in the whole of its life! Its thought there are tens of these bursts every day.

Life goes on. As normal.

Feel small?

Think again of that decision you didn't act on, afraid of the impact. don't fear the impact on the world around you. Life will go on. Just embrace the impact to your own life. Go make those changes and reap the benefits.

Lose the baggage, be nimble, react with agility and think, 'I just experience a gamma ray burst, and came out the other side'

It's definitely very therapeutic to ponder the relative insignificance of decisions & problems! Makes you much more fearless.

refreshing post. The kind of article where you wonder how it will make sense, and end up pleasantly surprised when reading the end. Reminded me of Steve Jobs speech at Harvard https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D1R-jKKp3NA
