Originally launched as a mobile-based hypercasual tournament platform, PLAY now allows players to create, share, and cash in on their in-game content. The news follows the prelaunch of the platform’s token presale, now suitably renamed to PLAY. This new rebrand is all about bringing web3 gaming under one platform, according to PLAY Founder and CEO Christina Macedo who commented ”We’re inviting everyone who loves games to explore, engage, and enjoy within a seamless environment”.
?? Bitget Wallet hit a staggering 30 million users in July, surpassing MetaMask in app downloads for July. After reaching 20 million users in March, Bitget Wallet has skyrocketed, achieving an impressive 50% growth in just four months. CryptoDaily attributes this success to key growth in international markets such as Nigeria, which now sees the wallet ranked higher than TikTok and WhatsApp on the App Store.?

??? Autoverse Studios just received an $8 million funding boost to fuel their new Web3 game Auto Legends. In addition to racing, the game focuses on building rank within the community. In an interview with VentureBeat, Head of Marketing Justin Choice said, “It’s not about winning or losing. It’s really becoming recognized by other players and by the car companies themselves”. The game is taking a cross-platform approach, with the title set to be available on PC, Mac, iOS and Android in the future. For now, the title is available for desktop players in an alpha via the Epic Games Store.
