Eagles victory clinches high payout for bettors following Super Bowl LIX
Following the conclusion of Super Bowl LIX, which saw the Philadelphia Eagles defeat the Kansas City Chiefs in a lopsided 40-22 victory, many of the top sportsbooks across the US took quite the hit after it was reported that the majority of wagers were placed on Philadelphia leading up to the big game.?Each of DraftKings, FanDuel and Fanatics sportsbooks released data that revealed which team generated the most handle in the days prior to Super Bowl LIX, with FanDuel reporting a 19% increase in total wagers compared to February 2024. Half of FanDuel's customers engaged with RG dashboard during NFL season 2024/25
FanDuel has announced that its new responsible gambling dashboard, My Spend, was engaged with by nearly half of its customers during NFL season 2024/25.?The tool, which supplies bettors with insights into their spending, deposit and general wagering activity, reached engagement figures that totaled 3.5 million during the most recent season of the NFL. Indeed, this number makes up almost half of FanDuel’s total customer base in the US. NYS: January sports betting handle reaches $2.48bn
The New York State Gaming Commission has released its January mobile sports betting results. Last month, the Empire State reached a new high for its sports wagering handle, which totaled $2.48bn. Though reaching the $2bn high water mark is not a first-time feat for the state, the surge in wagering activity in January was enough to beat out the record high previously set last October. The state handle last month blew past what New York players bet during December by nearly $200m and surpassed what the state reported in January 2024 by more than $500m.
