Bill to legalize games of skill in Virginia vetoed by Gov. Youngkin
In Virginia, Gov. Glenn Youngkin ruled on 115 bills on May 20, including Senate Bill 212 (SB212), which would legalize games of skill in the state. Gov. Youngkin chose to veto SB212, citing concerns about the safeguards in place to help regulate these types of gaming options
FanDuel generates $1.9m in first month revenue for DC
The DC Office of Lottery and Gaming (OLG) announced the financial results of FanDuel sportsbook

New Jersey reports $510.9m in total gaming revenue, but casino wins decrease 6.3%
The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement has announced the financial results of all gaming in the state for the month of April. Casino wins, internet gaming and sports wagering make up the sectors in which New Jersey currently profits from. The state accounts for the revenue and figures of nine casino properties
