Michigan sets new record for iGaming revenue in March report
The Michigan Gaming Control Board has reported on its online gaming numbers in the state for the month of March, emphasising another positive month.?In total, online gaming from the Wolverine State's commercial and Tribal operators reached $257.08m for online gross revenue, an increase of 17.7% when compared to February.?Looking on an individual basis, iGaming gross revenue reached its highest total recorded in the state’s history at $215.2m. Ontario FY2023-24 iGaming numbers show revenue increase to CA$2.4bn
Gaming revenue and wagering numbers for Ontario have been released today, displaying a total of CA$63bn (US$45.79bn) for wagers placed in the province between April ‘23 and March ‘24 – and resulting in CA$2.4bn in gaming revenue over the same period. For Q4, Ontario has also released its iGaming figures. Total wagers in the final quarter of the year landed at CA$17.8bn, bringing the 2023-24 total up to CA$63bn. Brazil payment rules set out by SPA – no bonuses or free bets
The Secretariat of Awards and Prizes (SPA), the gambling regulator in Brazil, has published rules related to payments within the gambling industry in the country. This latest ordinance from the SPA underlines that any contributions and withdrawals by bettors, as well as the payment of prizes by those operating the betting services, must do so by means of electronic transfer such as through instant payment, available electronic transfer, debit or prepaid card or bank transfers.
