AGA reports US gaming revenue exceeded $5bn for three consecutive months
US gambling has experienced the highest three revenue months in its history during March, April and May,?“despite macroeconomic challenges and increasingly tougher year-over-year comparisons.” Each month blew past the $5bn mark, according to reports from the American Gaming Association (AGA). Sportradar launches Athlete Wellbeing
Sportradar has announced the launch of Athlete Wellbeing, a global entity for sporting leagues, federations, teams and governing bodies. It aims to support athletes and ease the strain placed on their mental health by the demanding nature of pro sports. Read the full article here.
FanDuel makes two executive personnel appointments
With immediate effect, Christian Genetski has been promoted to the role of President and Mike Raffensperger has been named Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). Genetski will now oversee all of FanDuel's business development, corporate strategy, partnerships and government affairs units. Meanwhile, Raffensperger will oversee revenue generation across all FanDuel platforms, including sportsbook and DFS. Read the full article.
