Atlantic City casino operating profits decrease nearly 10% year-over-year for Q1 2024

The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement has reported the Q1 2024 financial results for all Atlantic City casinos. While total net revenue was reported at $740.2m for the first quarter of 2024 as compared to $726.3m for Q1 2023, the state saw a decrease in gross operating profits year-over-year. WSOP debuts online real-money poker platform in partnership with Caesars Entertainment

World Series of Poker (WSOP) has collaborated with Caesars Entertainment to release an online real-money poker platform called WSOP Online. The platform connects poker players in Michigan, New Jersey and Nevada on a network that will allow them to compete across state lines. It's official: DraftKings concludes Jackpocket acquisition

DraftKings has concluded its previously announced acquisition of digital lottery app Jackpocket. The operator said it plans to “focus on integrating Jackpocket into its operations and leveraging synergies to drive sustained growth and value creation” now that the transaction is complete. DraftKings Co-Founder and CEO Jason Robins commented: “We are well-prepared to quickly launch cross-sell programs, further improve customer acquisition efficiency, and continue to innovate and differentiate with our overall product portfolio for our customers."
