As more companies continued to report their Q3 results, the AGA announced that US commercial gaming revenue reached a quarterly record of $15.17 billion. Elsewhere, MGM Resorts gave us a glimpse of the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix Grandstands. On the other side of the country, New York took the lead as the state with the highest mobile sports betting earnings.
AGA: US gaming industry has generated $44.38bn in revenue so far this year
It looks like 2022 might end up being the best year for commercial gaming in US history, the American Gaming Association reports. According to the AGA’s?Commercial Gaming Revenue Tracker, the US took $15.17bn in revenue for Q3 2022. MGM Resorts unveils Bellagio Grandstands ahead of F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix 2023
MGM Resorts International is set to construct grandstands on the Bellagio lake ahead of the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix 2023. LV residents will be accustomed to the lake’s musical fountain shows, which will be on display during the races, performed across its eight-and-a-half-acre surface. Access to what the operator describes as ‘epic’ seats is going to be made available exclusively via MGM’s ‘race-to-stay’ packages that contain a three-day race ticket.?Read the full article here.
New York State collects $542m in sports wagering taxes as of October 31
New York State Governor Kathy Hochul’s office has released a financial report regarding sports wagering tax revenue generated statewide, according to a Spectrum News 1 local report. Figures show that the state raked in $542m in tax revenue as of the end of October, resulting in New York taking the lead as the state with the highest mobile sports betting earnings.
