Global Gaming Awards Las Vegas 2022: Winners revealed

The winners of the 2022 Global Gaming Awards Las Vegas were revealed on Monday at a gala luncheon ceremony in The Venetian. The winners were decided by over 100 C-suite industry executives, including Carsten Koerl, CEO & Founder of Sportradar; Janie Dillard, Senior Executive Officer at the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma; John Connelly, Global CEO of Interblock; Sheila Morago, Executive Director of the Oklahoma Indian Gaming Association, to name a few. The voting process was independently adjudicated by KPMG in the Crown Dependencies to ensure full fairness and transparency. Read the full article and find out the winners here.?

Caesars releases 2021-2022 Corporate Social Responsibility Report; increase in female execs

Caesars Entertainment has published its 2021-2022 Corporate Social Responsibility report. The operator focused on diversity and inclusion during the fiscal year, concentrating specifically on leadership representation that reflects both racial and gender equality. Women occupy 46% of the total mid-level leadership roles and 32% of senior leadership positions, according to this year’s report. Minority team members represent 43% and 19% of mid-level and senior leadership roles respectively. Read the full article here.

Las Vegas Strip resort plans filed by Tilman Fertitta

Tilman Fertitta, a Houston-based billionaire, has announced plans to build a new 43-story resort on the Las Vegas Strip. The resort will be nestled on a plot of real estate purchased by Fertitta in 2022 for $270m. The plot is roughly six acres and sits at?the southeast corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Harmon Avenue. The plans revealed space for?restaurants, conventions, a spa, a wedding chapel, an auto showroom and a theater with around 2,500 seats. Read the full article here.
