Gamify to gainify...

Technological immersions in one’s life has grown immensely, today technology is so cleverly been implanted in all of us that we have become a perfect blend of biological entity enticed with the deep rooted need of extrinsic support of synthetic things. To endorse this belief think of how LIKE play a vital role in your mood, think of a gadget which is more motivating for your daily exercise than anything else, how profoundly GOOGLE has been living with you all the times for all your needs, the apps sitting on your mobile governs and regulates your behavior, psyche and the way you live by. All these have two facets, one the procedural which comes from the equipment, gadgets, interfaces you interact with but the other side, the glazier one is the way you are forced to get engaged, immerse and intrinsically get motivated to use, reuse and get addicted to a function. This is what gamification has done, it has supported the procedures and functions so brilliantly that knowing and unknowingly we get bound to a particular thing, practice and procedure that it becomes our lifestyle. It is only the game like approach of the data representation which makes you feel first comfortable and then pushes you to the level of compulsion.

In times to come humans would be more inclined to psychology driving mechanisms which not only support them but will also mentor them from novice to mastery. This is the power of gamification which can be used anywhere, yes for anything from kitchen to Mars, for anybody, from a housewife to a CXO to brew excitement, ecstasy and finally the unflinching engagement.

The three day workshop would let you learn the fundamentals of gamification and will steadily glide you to a state wherein you can think of crafting gamification framework for anything and everything.

Gamified systems are going to be the game changer in times to come, the true amalgam of emotions and motivations by crafting content rich personalized experiences for everything would change the way we live, it has already impinged deep but still will go deeper. The need would be of the people with in depth understanding of the term gamification, its fundamentals, its design principles, the postulates, the point of view of game designer and above all the merge of philosophy, psychology, strategy and technology. This workshop is intended to build basics on what gamification is all about, why and how of gamified systems, design rules, PBL Triad, behaviourism, intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, Self Determination Theory, the design process and structure and final the futuristic vision of application of gamification. All in all this would be a structured and progression based pathway from beginner to designer of gamified systems.
