THE GAME OF TRADEWAR

I am not a prophet but I can see clearly, a future.

We shouldn't be surprised that we are having the US-China trade war at this time. However, it's happening earlier than expected.

In 2017, I listened as the Oracle (data) spoke to me through Prof. Hans Roslin (blessed memory) where he spoke about the rise of Asia. Little he knew that day that he announced the coming of the new born king (China) to king Herold (US).

During the short session with the oracle, he predicted the rise of Asia to world power to be 2048. However, this was on the assumption that there would be relative peace in the world.

Definitely, the US knew they couldn't stop this massive growth (technology, infrastructure, economy, etc) however, a war can hinder it and nobody would want to allow another World-War IV, definitely, no one but then, another soft war was engineered (The US-China Trade War).

For a nation rising from the third-world to the position they are now, China has really done well as a nation and it's clear, King will always go for king in the battle, I can see how China is of great threat to US in world power contest.

But why Huawei? Why not Lenovo? why not dronemaker DJI?

Huawei seems to be the beautiful lady working with the protagonist (China) whom the antagonist (US) captured to gain access to the protagonist - ignore my movie illustration, I just want to be sure you can get that part of the gist.

Let's look briefly at some of the attacks against Huawei.

1. Chip makers such as Intel, Qualcomm, and Qorvor have all reportedly stopped sales to Huawei.

2. The BBC reported on Wednesday 22nd May, 2019 that UK-Based Chip maker ARM - owned by Japanese telecom SoftBank - has halted all business with Huawei. Which could compromise the Chinese company's ability to make its own devices. The company reportedly said in a memo that it's designs contain "US origin technology".

3. In Japan, several major telecom providers have suspended or delay the introduction of an upcoming Huawei phone, Bloomberg reported, with SoftBank's YMobile citing concern over the availablity of security updates.

4. Also in the UK, telecoms EE and Vodafone announced that Huawei handsets wouldn't be part of the launch of the companies' 5G networks.

5. Google is also complying with the ban, potentially jeopardising the securities of Huawei devices running android, Google's smartphone software. Huawei has a licen as e to receive software updates and maintain existing networks until August 19, 2019.

6. Microsoft removed product pages for Huawei laptops from its product store this week. It has also been reported that this far, the tech giant has remained silent on whether Huawei devices will continue to receive windows updates. ----

Honestly, this is too much for Huawei to bear!

Who knows US next China target?

I am a very optimistic person, I see Huawei suffering this great blow which has already affected the firm, but I also see them coming back stronger than before.

I believe the real trade war hasn't started yet.

WHAT IS THE SITUATION IN CHINA

Though I have not been to China, I am a consumer of several Chinese products, and among other nations they've helped to make so many things affordable for an average Nigerian.

The greater strength of China is their labour force and I believe this force can deliver them victory as they have done in the past.

China have once harnessed greatly their labour force for economic recovery after the war with Japan in 1945 by embarking on an intensive program of industrial growth and socialization. If they take the same part today, then, US can never stop them again.

In 2018 alone, Huawei patented over 5,000 products -the largest globally. How come? These guys have already started owning the products of the future.

I wish China all the best and the whole world peace.

TO THE REST OF THE WORLD

I will like to address this part to my dear country, Nigeria. Is there anything we have of our own?

The day Kotonu-Nigeria trade war will start is when we will find out that there's is shortage of Rice, Fish, Pineapple, Turkey, Chicken, Apple, etc in Nigeria.

Just Kotonu, how much more China-Nigeria or at worst US-Nigeria (forget it, what we will have left is 'Nile ji Riya' -Nile wake up to suffer), my reasons are very audible to the deaf and visible to the blind.

RECOMMENDATION

As a nation, let's look inwardly and design functional frameworks to cut our dependency on so many foreign goods in the next 10 years, moreover, we have over 80% raw materials of all imported goods to Nigeria.

ON A FINAL NOTE

Although, Prof. Hans Roslin predicted June 2048 which would have been his 100th year birthday celebration as the rise of Asia, I still foresee China rising to power in 2048, I however believe the month will now be October - my birth month.
