A game of Snakes & Ladders, I could not FINISH!!

Do you know, about this beautiful game of Snakes & Ladders?? Have you played it ever??

I am sure, you had! ??

Well, there is just 1 rule. You must reach to the number 100 before others, to be pronounced a WINNER!!

Yes, just like the real life!!

You will get equal chances to play… to roll the dice, the best you can! The dice calls out sometimes, just what you wish… but mostly something else.

Problems! Here are the SNAKeS!! They are many... in different sizes, at different numbers… or in other words, the stages of the life in the game...

If you step on the Problems… you get bitten… and you will have to satisfy on their tail… or the feet's or defeats...

Then you just keep hustling! Either to reach at the 100, or to see somebody else reach there, before you…

Glad! You got the rules clear… It is a simple game, you just need to play it sportingly… like a CHAMPION!!

I will let you go first, but we play in his board… well I thought all the boards are same… I never knew you can re-position the snakes…

Yes, I googled… I could see 100’s of boards… If I knew it, I would have placed 6 snakes in-line from 1 to 6, and then reroute their tails to former numbers, so intelligently that in could have become an unending game…

NEVERTHLESS!!

He opened his board, and it was way beyond my imaginations!!

The board had only 1 snake, at 99 tailed at 100!

WOW...

I started playing… It dropped 6! I was SAD!! I moved to 6, but there was no snake to look back and smile at. There was no snake to look ahead and throw a challenge... There was no that BIG PROBLEM at 92? That was my biggest FEAR, after all!

I was looking down all the time, I was climbing a ladder. I was feeling I am cheating… myself!

My friend did not play!

I alone, just could not play!

I gave up at 37! I thought that’s it!! I feel like I am playing it for AGES! I feel I got too older for the game!

That board should have been a piece of cake… but I could not find my motivation to play, because there were no Problems... No Challenge… No Regrets… No Retry… No one to laugh at me… No one to admire my achievements…??

I felt happy about my LIFE! I kept thinking deeper and deeper inside my head… just wondering, all day I crib about my problems… I spend too much time, thinking about what they will think?

What if I fail!!

But when I saw a life when none of these exists… Life became impossible! Life just gave up on me… Did not want to move a foot ahead!!

I dropped down the DICE!!

Opened a more challenging 3-D version of LIFE... sorry the board…

We played... I stopped at 60…

I RETIRED SENSIBLE!!!! The game never COMPLETED!! ??))
