In years past, E3 was the conference for gamers in June & July.

This year - in E3's absence - gamers got a bevy of alternative feeds care of Summer Game Fest:

  1. Summer Game Fest - Kickoff Event
  2. Day of the Devs
  3. Wholesome Direct
  4. Xbox & Bethesda Showcase
  5. and tons of other smaller showcases

More people are making games.

More people are playing games.

More of everything is stealing mechanics and psychology from games in attempts to acquire and retain customers.
