Is it Game Over For U.S. Democracy?

Have we seen the last truly democratic election for POTUS in this country? I think we have. Here's my hypothesis.

Trump was backed by an oligarchy that has now become a plutocracy. This was the targeted outcome of?a long effort that began way before?the "Citizens United" ruling.

Trump, himself, is an irrelevancy. Now that they’ve secured absolute power, the Plutocrats just need a puppet. I would not be surprised if the Cabinet (who was picked for Trump) invokes the 25th amendment because Vance (who is more predictable and just as malleable for the Plutocrats) will automatically becomes POTUS and picks his new VP (no election required). What are the chances that the new VP (or even Vance, himself) will certify the electoral college results, in 2028 -- when the plutocrats back PuppetPOTUS/PuppetVEEP -- if the election results don’t give them the result they want.

If the VP doesn't certify, then the political structure of the House of Representatives (remember it's one vote for each state, and red states outnumber blue states) will ensure "the Plutocrats puppet' always controls the government of the United States.

So, the only way of fighting back is to dominate the House of Representatives and that means turning a lot of really red states blue -- district by district. ?This is why I’m saying protests are not ‘fighting back’’. You're not going to turn flip red Fayette County in western PA (which is where I grew up) to blue with a protest by a lot of marginalized groups -- with a lot of WOKE speeches -- in State Capitals in blue and purple states.

Frankly, I don't know how to do it. I supposed we should try to reverse engineer how the Republicans turned Fayette County from the blue it was when I was a child to the red it is now.? It wasn’t through protests. It was through a vision of changing this country's structure of government from a representative democracy to either an oligarch-controlled plutocracy or a christo-fascist theocracy (that's still a possibility, though I think the evangelicals were just pawns in the oligarch’s game plan).

Then they designed a carefully architected strategy to use every lever in every level of our government to gain control of the political system.?They also smartly targeted specific audiences with specific messages through the channels (social media, WSJ, Fox, podcasts, church) they already frequented. ?Who bankrolled this? I think we have that answer.

What the Democrats need is leadership that understands that it can write the rules, just not play by them.
