Did you know that Walt Disney tried and failed 302 times before he got finance to create his Walt Disney World? How many of us know that KFC founder Colonel Sanders was turned down a staggering 1009 times before finding a sponsor for his chicken recipe? Im sure everybody must be familiar with such incredible stories.
There are many such incredible stories and none of them are not fiction.
What do these stories tell us…they tell us about the resilience of real people, their will and their steely determination that pulled them up from the dungeons of loss; these real-life recounts inspire is with their spirit to move on even after suffering a huge loss.
And that is the real sign of an achiever.
But I feel there is more to it than that…let’s find out
In my previous iblog ‘Being Marvelous’ I had captured the intrinsic element of Captain Marvel, recounting her power to rise through challenging times. The sequel too draws upon one essence of life and that is: Even when life robs you of everything, the universe still leaves behind a treasure in your hands. You have to recognize that treasure and tap into its best potential to become victorious.
But remember, there is always someone who acts as a protagonist, a friend, the proverbial helping hand, in your life to lift you up. In Captain Marvel’s case, she had Nick Fury.
What am I trying to drive here?
All I am trying to say is that each of us, at some point in time or the other have lost something in life. Loss is never always monetary; it is also emotional, physical and spiritual. You could be reeling under these times of despair and wondering if you can get up to again wage another battle with life.
My answer is ‘Yes” and big ‘Yes’.
Center yourself, take a pause and step back. Look deep into your life and you will suddenly get this “Ah ha” moment when you will realize that universe has left you with a treasure. Now it is only you who will be able to identify that divine treasure. Work on the treasure trove and make it work for you, for only you will be able to make it work.
Take a leaf from your favorite series Avengers: EndGame. Tony Stark and the group of Avengers are victims of Thanos destruction. But they have one thread common between them, the burning desire to fight Thanos the Satanic Demigod who destroyed the world. They still had the spirit to fight and become victorious. Because now they have someone in their life called Captain Marvel and bunch of few left behind to win back the lost world.
Just like Avengers, we too must hold on to the incredible spirit of “Never Say Die’ a powerful element that universe has built within us. Use it whenever you feel lost and fight with whatever you have. All you need is a will and steely determination.
And once you make the decision to go after something and actually start taking action, you will be surprised by how fast things can manifest. You need to trust that you can do whatever it is you’re thinking about when you have feeling of lost (it is only time you get wild ideas) and take leap into new territory. Prepared to move on from where you are now. The universe is on your side.
Ladies & Gentlemen, Let’s see how avengers get back there lost identity, friends, will and more importantly how to the win the Game of Lost with whatever left behind.
My insight:
I might lose the battle temporarily but I will always be left with some resource to win the ultimate war because universe never leaves you alone.
