Game Developer Digest 1/19/2023
Welcome to State of the Game Industry Day! It's not *exactly* a holiday, but it is something to celebrate: our GDC/Gamedeveloper.com collaboration survey is out and ready for folks to dive into, and we have a couple of pieces of coverage today taking a look at the results. We also have a Developer Insights piece on the making of the hilarious physics-based heist game The Professional, an interview with Generative AI company Scenario Inc Co-founder and CEO Emmanuel de Maistre, plus news-aplenty. We've got items on Ubisoft's cancelled Project Q, another high-level 343 Industries departure, and more.

Staten joined the studio in 2020, but will now reportedly be rejoining the Xbox Publishing team.
