Welcome to State of the Game Industry Day! It's not *exactly* a holiday, but it is something to celebrate: our GDC/Gamedeveloper.com collaboration survey is out and ready for folks to dive into, and we have a couple of pieces of coverage today taking a look at the results. In this year's GDC State of the Game Industry survey, we found more developers are moving to hybrid remote-office schedules; they're divided on the rise in major studio acquisitions; and their opinions on the use of blockchain technology in games are more complicated than they may seem at first glance.

Scenario. Inc describes its tool as a "generator of generators," that lets devs iterate on 2D art assets trained on their own art datasets.

Report:?Halo Infinite's?head of creative Joseph Staten departing 343 Industries

Staten joined the studio in 2020, but will now reportedly be rejoining the Xbox Publishing team.
