Our development team has been hard at work making the Govstack CMS even better!??

The recent CMS V.1.6 release contains some noteworthy additions that will positively impact navigation, news alerts, and media security.?

Enhanced Navigation with Menu Manager?

We’re excited to introduce Menu Manager, the newest addition to the Global Node! This feature will give you better website control by allowing you to create your main navigation and dropdown menus quickly and easily. With it, you can:?

• build new menus?
• build new layouts, including??
• create multi-column dropdowns,??
• create multi-level menus, and??
• create dropdown menus with call-to-action images. ?

To help you take advantage of this new feature, we have created a simple step-by-step guide that can be found here.

You can also easily add a new menu to your site by following these easy-to-use instructions.??

News Feed Enhancement?

We have also enhanced the News Feed component with a dynamic news feed ticker that cycles between new posts to keep your audience informed about important news happening in their community.??

Members-Only Content?

You now have an easy way to secure members-only content with a new toggle feature. The URLs of documents and image files not intended for public view can sometimes become exposed due to a variety of missteps.? This feature protects against unintentional disclosures.?

User Interface Improvements?

The enhancements in the 1.6 release provide a better user experience for both administrators and residents, these include:??

• Better responsiveness when dismissing mobile popup alerts.?
• Adjusting the rich text editor height to keep WYSIWYG editing tools always visible to enhance editing.?
• Transparent headers that correctly display on all pages, ensuring a seamless visual presentation.?
