A Game-Changer in Leak Detection and Monitoring

In the petrochemical industry, where safety and efficiency are paramount, CASL was called to support a very important mission at a large petrochemical company. Two steam leaks required assessment to aid a decision on repairs, or possible shutdown.

A trained CASL engineer commenced weekly site visits to the Facility in September, 2024 to monitor the leaks, assess the severity and report findings. Following this, CASL deployed the CRYSOUND intrinsically safe acoustic imaging camera, to accurately measure and record leakage rates and decibel levels.

The CRYSOUND high-tech camera captured detailed data on the leaks, allowing for the successful clamping of the units, thereby, marking a significant safety achievement for both the client and the company.
