Citric acid: Solid form pKa 3.14, 5.95, 6.39 – Antimicrobial activity tp preserve feed against bacterial spoilage, also used to enhance calcium and phosphorus absorption in layer and broiler.

Acetic acid: liquid form pKa 4.75 – Control mold and reduce bacterial growth in feed.

Lactic acid: liquid form pKa 3.08 – Increase “good” bacteria in the digestive tract and stimulate multiple aspects of the immune response.

Fumaric acid: liquid form pKa 3.03, 4.44 – Improve growth performance and hematological parameters and serum biochemical states in the heat- stressed broiler.
