GALWAY GOLDEN MILE INFORMATION EVENT

There will be an information session about the 2020 Galway Golden Mile initiative for community groups and schools at the Angler's Rest in Headford on Saturday November 9 between 1030am and 3pm.

The Golden Mile of Galway is an annual competition for which communities adopt a mile of roadway which celebrates natural and built heritage, history or folklore.

There will be a talk and walk with lunch included and I would encourage anyone interested to attend

The scheme, which has made a great difference to our local communities, is supported by LEADER funding from my Department, the Department of Rural and Community Development.
