Galilee Health Institute Officially Commissioned

In a bid to addressing the rising dental cases, the Galilee Health Institute has officially been commissioned. The newly established institution aims to address the growing demand for dental services and the shortage of qualified healthcare professionals by providing specialized training in dental care.

By equipping the next generation of medical practitioners with essential skills, the institute hopes to bridge the gap in healthcare access, offering much-needed services to underserved communities across the country.

The Galilee Health Institute has been officially opened, with the commissioning ceremony led by Hon. Wilson Muruli. The institute aims to bridge the gap in healthcare access by training the next generation of medical professionals, offering courses in dental care and other medical disciplines.

Dr. Brian Rushaju explained that the institute was established to provide quality dental healthcare in response to the gap where many individuals lack access to proper dental services or fall victim to unqualified practitioners, leading to further dental issues. He emphasized that the institute's goal is to assist those who are unable to access such services and address the pressing need for more trained dental professionals.

Hon. Wilson Muruli Mukasa praised the leadership of Galilee Health Institute for its foundational work, highlighting that it will help bridge the gap in the doctor-patient ratio. He stated that with an increased number of trained medical professionals, more people will be able to access the healthcare services they need.

Dr. Kedrace Turyagyenda, the Director of Education Standards in the Ministry of Education and Sports, commended the establishment of the institute, emphasizing the importance of equipping more dental practitioners with the necessary skills to enhance the country's healthcare system. She encouraged the continued efforts, praising the institute's positive impact.

Galilee Health Institute aims to provide dental services nationwide, with a particular focus on reaching communities that currently lack access to such care.
