Galaxis has partnered with NFCastle to preserve their precious artifacts and convert them to NFTs

The Non-Fungible Castle is a storehouse or museum of historical artifacts. These artifacts date back centuries in the Czech Republic, where Bohemian ancestors created several beautiful art pieces over a span of 700 years.

The Bohemian’s lost these art pieces twice, under the Nazis and Communists. However, a good number of them (about 20,000 movable art pieces) were regained in 1989 by the Bohemian people during the tenure of President Havel.

After this recovery, they took stock of them and sought to share these artifacts and collectibles with the world. However, taking stock manually has its fair share of drawbacks, like a lack of accuracy and traceability of ownership.

For this reason, blockchain technology came to the rescue.

How Can Museums Make Use of NFTs and Web3?

The best way for museums to take advantage of blockchain technology is to store or save each artifact as an NFT. This will help solve the problem of traceability. Doing this provides accurate records of how each artifact’s ownership has changed over time.

Storing artifacts as NFTs is an excellent way to ensure they remain saved permanently and securely. So even if the owner dies, the art is not lost but saved on the blockchain forever.

Web3 also allows fans or NFT community members to co-own an artifact if the artist passes away.

NFC and Galaxis: The Partnership

Galaxis, one of the renowned technology companies in the NFT space, has partnered with NFCastle to preserve their precious artifacts and convert them to NFTs.

In light of this partnership, the Galaxis team participated in the NFC conference in both the Lobkowicz Palace and the Nelahozeves Castle, Prague, from November 5 — November 7, 2022.

The aim of the conference was to shed light on how NFTs can be used to preserve historic and renaissance art and to synergize ideas on how NFTs and art spaces can coexist better.

Galaxis NFT Toolkit is a no-code, out-of-the-box NFT toolkit for creating decentralized communities. It provides creators with all the benefits of smart contract technology in one easy-to-understand, non-technical user interface, allowing them to design and deploy a collection of utility-driven NFTs along with a safe space for members to interact and trade value. The platform is also set to launch on November 21, 2022.

NFCastle Exhibition

NFCastle exhibition is from October 27 — November 13, 2022. This event is free-for-all attendees, and a tour of the castles will be given.

There will be activities like the scavenger hunt (17 different games). A Galaxis Wallet Card is required for this activity. Each card has a QR code that confirms your presence at the event and also collects NFTs.

Each card has three utilities: the QR code, the seed phrase, and the public address.

• The QR code can track progress in the scavenger hunt game and receive the NFT rewards attached to winning a competition/game.
• The seed phrase is a unique password for a cryptocurrency wallet. (Remember: You should not disclose this phrase to anyone.)
• The public address is more like a bank account. It has a combination of letters and numbers that directly link to the wallet. Through this address, you can receive cryptocurrencies or NFTs (Although no one can access your wallet using the address).

There are prices attached to the game:

• A collection of 4 NFTs equals a bronze medal
• A collection of 9 NFTs equals a silver medal
• A collection of 14 NFTs equals a gold medal
