GALA ACADEMY
Moderators: Klaus Fleischmann and Christian Lang
Terminology has always been recognized as an essential cornerstone of language quality, yet it is grossly underrepresented in discussions between clients, LSPs and translators about process, resource or cost. This is changing, as the conversation shifts from simply "words" to business value, dynamic content quality and a more targeted approach to localization.
Recent developments in content marketing, SEO content and, of course, AI have also highlighted the need for terminology from different perspectives.
In these sessions, we want you to understand what terminology management actually is and how to make it happen, for the localization process itself, but also upstream or beyond localization. We will also look at tools and the potential use of AI for terminology management.
Are you still on the fence? Watch this interview with Klaus Fleischmann on terminology management.
