Gaining recognition for your hard work
Damian Hutt
Executive Director at Association of Association Executives | Fellow, Institute of Event Management
Gaining recognition for the hard work done in associations can be tough.
Associations work in all sectors and are mostly the ones that recognizes and heros excellence in their field. But the associations themselves and their staff rarely get recognition for their outstanding work.
Whether it be the strong leadership initiatives or transformations, outstanding event delivery for their members, optimal membership engagement, game-changing education and volunteer initiatives for their sector or simply excellence on a daily basis it is unusual for associations to be recognised.
This is why the International and European Associations Awards exist. Free to enter and association-led these awards are purely focused on recognising excellence across Associations.
This is vital so that associations can be recognised and demonstrate their credibility as an organisation to their own members.
So, if you know of an organisation, or one of your colleagues or would even like your own work recognised please nominate yourself for an awards at the ONLY Associations awards in Europe.
