The Gaining Back Time & Energy Trick
I spend a lot of time listening to my clients beat themselves up over what they eat and what they don’t eat, and how they know they need?“to eat better.”
When they are finished berating themselves over how bad they are, I gently highlight the problem I see and hear….

Surprisingly, it’s one of the top things that rob people of?time and energy… and it’s this:
?
Thinking too much about food … all of the time.
?
Thinking too much about food all the time is comprised of thoughts such as:?too busy to eat, what to eat, questioning whether what you ate was healthy, feeling guilty for any unhealthy item you consume, the?shoulda, coulda, woulda?mindset about what you did or didn’t do yesterday, or last week!
?
The common way to combat this?“too much thinking about food”?problem is to grab the easiest thing, knowing it’s probably not the best, hence going down the beating yourself up road.
?
The?"easiest thing to grab"?is typically from a list of unbalanced, nutrient deficient food, leaving you with feelings of lethargy and guilt, thinking about how bad you were and what you are going to do better for the next meal. And the cycle continues.
?
This would put anyone in a self-defeating, time consuming place.
Talk about fatigue…This takes a TON of time to think about and completely drains your energy.
?
?But it doesn’t have to be that way.
?
That choosing healthy food can become a no brainer, hence saving you a loads of time while saving your energy!
