GABRIEL BOCCUNI

SKT Gallery presents: ?????????????? ??????????????. ?

Gabriel is a trained digital designer and animator, graduating from the University of Arts London in 2017. He has worked as a designer for a wide range of clients in the beauty, fashion, and music industry, and launched his own freelance company, GBOCCUNI in 2019. 

He is now focusing much of his attention on his physical paintings and drawings. Thus far Gabriel has presented in exhibitions in both London, at the Red Gallery, and in Rome, at the Ex gallery, showing paintings and projections of abstract animations. Gabriel mixes mediums of drawing and digital animation, creating moving images and short films that bring the works to life and progress the narrative of each piece. 

Many of Gabriel’s works, such as those present with SKT, focus on the eye, staring intensely and directly at the onlooker who views them. What emotion these eyes portray is determined by how the viewer engages with each piece.
