How to improve your business English for good with this winning concept

How to improve your business English for good with this winning concept

Hi from Vera!

Let's talk about removing things you consider necessary with your business English.

Here are just a few, to begin with:

fancy or sophisticated words, complicated sentences & meanings, and excessive movement during presentations or meetings.

Does anything ring a bell? I'm?sure it does.

It's a common misconception that professionals must use all these elements when speaking?English at work.

No, you don't have to. In fact, you must avoid them at all costs.

The root cause of this preference for "show-off" is a?wrong mindset, one that aims at?impressing people?around you.

That entails two risks:

-?messing up?things when a lot is at stake

-?losing yourself?(because of not being yourself but trying to show another fancier and more "pro" version).

Let me clarify this.

You don't show or sound like a pro if you can't convey your message.

Trying to impress or faking it?doesn't work in the long term. You may trick people a couple of times, but in the end, it will?backfire.

By?removing anything unnecessary (= not providing real value), you ensure only the most appropriate things come out of your mouth.

That's how you can?speak naturally & confidently.

Regardless of grammar, vocabulary, or accent issues, you can nail it next time if you apply the?minimalistic "less is more" concept.

It's a?winning concept, trust me.

It's also?neglected?& you won't see so-called "gurus" talk about it because they want you to focus on?"showing off, sounding fancy, impressing with little real substance".

Few professionals only go for "less is more", and they are usually the ones who nail their English speaking, writing, or presentation skills, while others still struggle...

That's why I get asked a lot to gather all these tips.

Due to popular demand, Vera delivered!???

Here is a?new blog article?with tips and advice on using the "less is more" concept and minimalism to your benefit.

It's short and sweet, and I've also included a?mini-guide in pdf format for future use.

You just have to be yourself and not move your hands, head, eyes, body etc around. That shows stress.
