FX-Volatility ... It’s not too often that we see such coordinated levels of comfort. Usually when one market is calm, another is undergoing upheaval. There’s usually at least one outlier, unlike now when there really aren’t any. cc. @sentimentrader ... I’m never going to forecast low vol forever, but right now, it feels to me as if vol is going to get squeezed a bit further. *U.S. ECONOMY EXPANDED AT 2.6% PACE IN 4Q; EST. 2.2% ...The GDP data supported the dollar and confirmed what the Federal Reserve has been saying all along that the U.S. economy is still growing at a solid pace... cc. @CreditAgricole ... Gold may struggle climbing higher until we see further deterioration in U.S. data, that would seal the market expectation for the next move to be a rate cut. @edjmoya
