EXECUTIVE APPOINTMENTS



Edrington, owners of amongst others of The Macallan, Highland Park, Brugal Rum and Famous Grouse, has appointed Ana Acuna as Head of Assurance, Risk & Compliance. She joins from Diageo where she was Global Audit & Risk Strategy Director.



Newlands is the family office and ultimate holding company of Robertson Group, the major Construction, Residential Development and Engineering business.  Dougie Hawkins is its new CEO and is formerly of Clyde Capital and Royal Bank of Scotland.



Market-leading and PE-backed Dobbies Garden Centres have made two key financial appointments.  Alison Graham, formerly of Arnold Clark, is now Group Financial Controller and Louise Clark is the new Financial Reporting Manager. She joins from Standard Life Aberdeen.



Weir Group PLC has appointed Rene Calitz as Head of Strategic Planning & Projects.



Sky UK has appointed Kelly Graham as Head of Service Operations, based in Newcastle. She joins from Northumbrian Water where she was Head of Customer Service.



Leading housebuilder Stewart Milne Group has appointed Peter Best as Sales Director of its Northern Division. He joins from Dandara.



Integrated Environmental Solutions (IES) is a software and consultancy company which creates software tools for designing and operating energy efficient buildings for a range of global customers.  Graeme Robertson has been appointed as Sales Director and joins from Schneider Electric.



Top ten Scottish Law firm Morton Fraser has appointed Pamela Ogg, formerly of Kames Capital, as its new Finance Director.



Zero Waste Scotland works in resource efficiency and the circular economy to create a society where resources are valued and nothing is wasted.  Claire Lithgow joins as Interim CFO. She was previously FD of Scottish Canals.



Jim Hollington has joined Dance Base, Scotland’s National Centre for Dance, as CEO. He is formerly Head of External Affairs at Edinburgh International Festival.



World-renowned Scottish Ballet has appointed Marie Gilfillan as Head of HR. She is formerly of major distiller William Grant & Sons.



Neil McPherson has joined Specialist Aviation Services, the international provider of high quality air support services, as Customer Operations Manager, based at Gloucester Airport. He joins from Babcock.



Kevin Haws has joined engineering services provider Musk Process Services (part of Edwin James Group – a UK leader in facilities engineering) as Associate Director Commercial. He joins from Amey.



As an international arm of ThaiBev, International Beverage Holdings is a leading global drinks business – brands include Old Pulteney, Balblair, Hankey Bannister and Caorunn Gin. Based in Florida, Alex Steppacher has been appointed as Regional Vice President Sales, Americas having previously held the position of Vice President Eastern Region at Davos Brands.



Last Mile Asset Management, formerly known as Energetics, designs, builds, connects and operates multi-utility networks across the UK. To help support its rapid expansion plans, Michael Blake joins as Associate Director – Asset Management. He was previously at SSE plc.



NON EXECUTIVE APPOINTMENTS



Wood PLC CFO David Kemp has been appointed to the Board of Craneware plc, the quoted healthcare tech business, as a Non Executive Director.



Standard Life Master Trust acts as a Trustee and works in the interests of members of the Standard Life Defined Contribution Master Trust and Stanplan A pension schemes. Three new Non Executive Directors have been appointed to the Board: Catherine McKenna, a Partner in Global Law Firm Squire Patton Boggs; Andrew Davies, formerly Director of Marketing Strategy at AXA and Caroline Escott, the former Head of Public Policy at UKSIF (UK Sustainable Investment and Finance Association).



Andrew Hall has joined Transport2 (UK) Limited as Chair. Transport 2 is a leading, technology enabled Mobility-as-a-Service and EdTech business offering value-added end to end managed transport services across education, corporate and leisure verticals. The business is backed by Souter Investments and Nickleby Capital and is based in Maidenhead. Andrew is currently Chair of PE-backed Babington Group, Housemark and Cottsway Housing. He was previously CEO of AQA Education Ltd and Eliza Tinsley Group plc.



Salvesen Mindroom Centre is a pioneering and inspiring Charity which is improving the lives of thousands of children and families living with learning difficulties. Johnston Carmichael Chair and former ICAS President Sandy Manson has been appointed as Chair and Judy Wagner, Co-Founder of FWB Park Brown also joins the Board as a Trustee.



Two new Non Executive Directors have joined Dundee Rep and Scottish Dance Theatre. They are Jen McLachlan of English National Ballet and Fraser Anderson, formerly CEO of the Scottish Ensemble.



ENERGY SECTOR



One of the world’s leading drilling and engineering companies, KCA Deutag has appointed Jonathan Milne as Communications Director. He is formerly of Moore Global, Total, Maersk and Weir Group.



Global Energy Group provides construction, maintenance and enhancement solutions to a diverse range of energy industry customers. Helen Light has joined as Group Legal Counsel from Maersk.



Stena, one of the world’s leading independent drilling operators, has appointed Lindsay Fraser as Senior Contracts Advisor. He joins from Archer.



Aubin designs, develops and supplies chemical solutions for the global oil & gas industry and has appointed Omar Raafat as Sales Manager for MENA. He was previously with BASF. Michael Noble also joins from Tenaris as Business Development Manager for its Pipelines business and Kevin Lonie takes on the same role for Well Services, joining from SEM Energy.



TWMA, the world’s drilling waste specialist, has appointed Stephen Law as HSEQ Director. He was previously President HSSEA at Wood PLC.



The Oil & Gas Technology Centre’s (OGTC) goal is to unlock the full potential of the UK North Sea, anchor the supply chain in North East Scotland and inspire a culture of innovation and transformation. In a key appointment Vinay Mulgundmath has joined as Chief Technologist. He was previously Head of Strategy and Business Development at Doosan Babcock.



Robert Gordon University (RGU) has appointed Chris Pearson as Director of its National Subsea Centre.



Southwestern Energy has appointed Brittany Benko as Vice President, Health, Safety & Environment. She was previously Vice President – Health, Safety, Environment and Security at Anadarko Petroleum Corporation in Houston.



Schanel Arredondo has joined STATS Group as Regional Finance Manager – North America. STATS are market leaders in the supply of pressurised pipeline isolation & intervention services to the global Oil & Gas market. Previously she was Financial Management Accountant & Assistant Controller with Schlumberger.



BICO Drilling Tools, a Schoeller-Bleckmann Company is a recognised leader in the design, manufacture and service of downhole drilling motors, drilling jars, shock subs and hole opening equipment for the oilfield, mining and HDD industries. Felipe Rueda has been appointed as Global Accounts Manager.



Glacier Energy Services, the provider of specialist services, products and engineered solutions for energy infrastructure, has appointed Tom Gollan as Business Unit Director for Glacier Inspection Services. Tom has enjoyed a long career within the energy sector and was most recently Director Construction & Commissioning with Doosan Babcock.
