FuturisticSkills - Building with Generative AI on AWS

Last weekend, I had the privilege of sharing the stage with some of the most esteemed HR and tech leaders in the industry at the 12th edition of #IndustryConnect, themed #FuturisticSkills: Perspectives of Leaders. Organized by Sri Eshwar College of Engineering in #Coimbatore, this event brought together industry thought leaders, students, and faculty to explore the skills and knowledge essential for the future.

The event featured inspiring keynote speeches, insightful discussions, and interactive sessions led by distinguished sector leaders.

Memorable Incidents

Few memorable incidents that have stayed with me:

? At the end of each guest speaker's session, when the forum was opened for Q&A, I noticed at least 10 students standing up, eagerly waiting for their turn to ask questions.

? Due to time constraints, I couldn't answer all the students' questions. I told them I would meet them outside the conference hall. On the way to the guest refreshment building, a few students walked alongside me, asking their questions. After lunch, I saw two girls waiting to learn about getting started with #AWS and #GenAI. I spoke with them and moved to the building entrance, where, to my surprise, another group of students was waiting to understand more about the hiring process and what leaders look for in budding engineers.

As a speaker, having such an enthusiastic audience is a blessing indeed.

I always have a huge respect to professor turned Founder & Principal @Dr. Sudha Mohanram and pleasure to meet her finally in person to understand more about their way of nurturing the young minds. Ofcourse true to the words mentioned by career guidance Ashwin R.
