A daunting task, isn't it? Pitching Upskilling to your CFO or CEO.

Upskilling works. We know it, you know it.? But, how do we show it?

Here's a 3-step approach to showcasing the fruity fruits of your labor

Step 1: Define Impact Targets

Let's nail down what success means for your learning initiatives:

  • Are we looking for a boost on those business goals?
  • Is employee retention the goal?
  • Perhaps speeding up mastery of skills?
  • Increase in productivity?

Step 2: Establish Metrics for Accountability

Next, decide on the metrics that will serve as your north star for each target. Look for concrete signs of progress toward your goals:

  • Is revenue growth on the up (business goals)?
  • Where are we saving on severance and recruitment costs (retention)?
  • Did we reduce customer churn or do we see higher NPS (productivity)?
  • Quicker onboarding times (speed of mastery)?

Evaluate your outcomes against your goals and metrics.
