With its 55 kW electric motor the smart fortwo electric drive accelerates from 0 - 60 km/h in 4.8 seconds, and with a maximum speed of 125 km/h driving pleasure is also guaranteed on urban motorways. An electric car, ready for lift-off into a new era of mobility – full of lightness and joie de vivre.

5 年Thanks Alan. I'll be curious to see which of these concepts actually make it fruition.? Was hoping to see this one, (https://www.autoblog.com/2010/07/30/forgotten-concept-2001-vw-microbus/), but it was obviously filed into the annals of concept car history. . .? IT was nice to see the Supra make a comeback, thanks in a large part to BMW. The only downside, is there is no M/T offering. Shame. OR how about the new Rivian R1T, that one, I believe has some serious potential! The real question, is what will my grandchildren drive (BTW, I don't have any, yet), or will they?

5 年Hi Alan, what about this model powered by hydrogen? :) You've presented many?interesting concepts,?but they still look like today's cars. When I think about vehicles in a distant future, I envision pods and vacuum tubs and flying cars because people could live in skyscrapers higher than we can imagine now. What about submersible cars and the possibility that people could live in underwater cities that many futurists predict? Maybe I look too far ahead in the future. :))
