AI at the Beginning of Zazmic

At Zazmic Inc , we have always been fascinated with artificial intelligence (AI). It's not something we started talking about a few years ago. No, we knew that AI would make a revolution one day, so we tried to implement it into our projects right from the start. Back then, my co-founder, Yurii Yakovlev , and I poured countless hours into developing AdTech optimization models and other NLP-based classification models. It would take us months to produce, train, and validate these models. Over time, we also focused our attention on Applied AI for healthcare: Diagnostic summarization and pre-diagnostic image-based models.?

At the time, it was already clear that AI was giving businesses a massive advantage. The companies we worked with in AdTech reported significant improvement in CVR, and our radiology customer shortened diagnostic times by 50%. It was hard work, but the results were inspiring.

The emergence of ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Llama, and others over the last 18 months marked a turning point. We saw how the world was happily embracing generative AI, and our mission – along with our customers' needs – was evolving.

We had a choice to make. Our partners saw us as guides who would help them get through the complexities of generative AI. Our internal processes were becoming increasingly automated, and AI-powered productivity tools helped our teams achieve more than ever before. So we understood we had to take a new step. AI-fying everything we do.?

Embracing the Innovation

We didn't hesitate. We gathered an AI team with one goal in mind: to integrate the latest AI models into every process and workflow at Zazmic. Anthropic, OpenAI, and Gemini were used by every team. Pretty soon, we launched Zazmic Intelligence, which has powerful generative AI features like smart status updates, summaries, and answers that relate to our own processes.

Still, our team's response to AI was a mix of enthusiasm, fear, and skepticism. To get the various departments on board, we built dedicated AI teams. They showcased and evangelized Gen AI capabilities, conducting Workshops and hands-on experimentation to ensure every employee saw AI as an asset and not as an enemy and job-stealer. Not surprisingly, this led to a wave of creative uses of AI across the company.

We saw how AI is used in every corner of Zazmic. Our team developed bots for product feedback, manager reviews, and Employee Onboarding. Reps from Sales and Customer Experience used AI for outbound communication and sales call preparation. Engineers explored API script writing, while Marketing came up with a content creator and campaign brief bot that aligned perfectly with our brand strategy.

I, too, was caught by Gen AI's impressive power, so I started experimenting with different models to develop code, build unit tests, and understand security logs. Contrary to the belief that using AI limits creativity, I found it to be a catalyst for better writing and faster ideation. It also transformed how I collaborated with my team. We could have high-level discussions without being distracted by edits or note-taking during brainstorming sessions.

The Productivity Breakthrough

?I remember Yurii telling me: “I have built an app that can buy gold Crypto using Node, React Native, and LLM, and I don’t even know this tech stack! I did this in a day! ”?

The real progress, however, came when we integrated different AI agents to accelerate development within our operational processes: Recruiting, Human Resources, Project Management, Product Management, and Finance. AI joined our team and took the most mundane tasks for himself so that we could become more effective in addressing strategic issues and more creative in finding the best solutions.

At Zazmic, we use Artificial Intelligence to streamline processes, increase productivity, and elevate performance. Our marketing team started using AI to create catchy and more personalized content. Now, our designer uses Gen AI to craft captivating videos and voiceovers, saving time for work that requires more creative effort. All our employees use AI to create transcripts of meetings and even summarize them to have all key points at hand. Our PMs use AI to automate and simplify work with spreadsheets, troubleshoot issues, and learn how to use this tool effectively.

Integrating AI into our collaborative processes is transforming the way we interact with our human colleagues, making us more productive. Now we're certain there will be no going back to the old ways.?

These experiences solidified our vision for the future of work, where AI is not just a tool but an assistant that can make every process easier, faster, and better. Every single Zazmic Employee is using AI. This is also why we promoted to Yurii Yakovlev to Chief AI Officer to make AI part of everything we do internally and externally. We are tech optimists: We believe AI will make the world better.?

Now, our Engineering teams can collaborate with AI to accelerate software launches and spot cyber attacks in real time. This is not science fiction anymore; it's the reality that we're actively building.

Of course, when we talk about AI, a lot of questions remain open. We envision a future where AI empowers human ingenuity and solves the world's most complicated challenges. We aim to create a future where work is not just more efficient but also more fulfilling, impactful, and profoundly human.?
