Future view to now

by DAVID JOHNSTON

“A world where people can be their best self, where the pursuit and care for humanity is at the forefront for all peoples.

A world where we look for the good and ensure the education, health, environment, agriculture and all aspects of society are based on the simple understanding that we have many common grounds that are intrinsic to the core of being human. Rather than the insecurities and biases that currently dominate we can change the narrative and create a Future View that is full of optimism and potential, where the obstacles and insecurities that are writhe today have moved from our lexicon and only remembered as a way from the past that we have left behind.

This is the view for individuals, communities and whole societies, that unites us and allows a capacity to seek ways to work together, where obstacles that get in our way can be used as ways to better develop our skills and common learnings rather than corrosive webs that we fight over and take sides to see who can reign supreme.

We are nature, we are humans and we have the capacity to envisage the world we want to live in and go forward and make our Future View a reality, then to look back to Now and have a clearer path on how to get there.

My contribution is to continue to develop the process of bringing the Future View closer to the Now. This is through Podcast style communication of the overall concept and then welcoming more people in the development of the View, filling in the areas of things like Health, Education, the Environment, and working into the tricky questions of Governments, fair exchange, how to ensure people feel secure, valued and connected. By working towards a view that deals firstly with common grounds, that the majority of people can agree, we will see that the areas of conflict diminish.”

My first rule for being my best self is to 'Be Present' - for me, this means - listening, reading, seeing and learning - from this launchpad I believe we can create an amazing future view. Nice article David Johnston #futureview #earth #sustainablelifestyle #bekind
