Coming Soon: SouthWest Transit to Enhance Spare-Powered Services with May Mobility's Autonomous Vehicles
This past month, Spare’s longtime customer, SouthWest Transit, announced their plans to launch the first autonomous microtransit service in the Twin Cities. ??
?Leveraging May Mobility’s advanced technology, and Spare’s Open Fleets platform, this new service will introduce autonomous vehicles (AVs) into Minnesota's transportation network and seamlessly integrate within the Spare platform that currently powers SouthWest Transit’s microtransit service, which provides the software to optimize booking, scheduling, and routing. We're excited to see SouthWest Transit take their microtransit service to the next level by integrating autonomous vehicles through our collaborative efforts with May Mobility.
