Future of Tourism Malaga
Future of Tourism Coalition
The future of tourism is at stake. Join us in building a better tomorrow.
The beginning of 2023 saw an important milestone for our coalition as Malaga became the global headquarters and European hub of the Future of Tourism Coalition (FoTC) with the announcement of a major multi-year cooperation agreement with Malaga City Council, the Malaga Chamber of Commerce, the Diputación de Málaga through Turismo Costa del Sol and the Junta de Andalucía.
This partnership establishes a physical office and dedicated staff resources for the Coalition, the FoT Malaga Headquarters will drive sustainable tourism in the Andalusian region, forging strong partnerships with businesses, governments, academic institutions and NGOs.
The six global NGOs of the Coalition will bring their expertise and tools to shape the roadmap towards responsible tourism. This fundamental step underlines Malaga's commitment to sustainable change and positions it as a catalyst for activity at destination level in Spain, Europe and the Mediterranean basin.
