The Future of THINK DIFFERENT

The Future of THINK DIFFERENT

The?power of thought?is the single?most powerful force?in reality. We are unaware of its magnitude and dimension because it's invisible.?

Up until now, the engine driving everything was the human ego. But from now on, it will be the power of thought. Up till now we used the ego in a quantitative way - soon we’ll discover what it means to use it in a qualitative manner.

Apple is one of the most iconic brands in the world because it appealed directly to the ego, to the creative genius inside all of us waiting to be recognized. Steve Jobs had a way of tuning into what people truly desire - to be special, to stand out, to be the one to save the day. He made a direct connection between people who may be considered a little different by society, and success. That's why his Think Different campaign made such an impact - it gave us permission to think outside the box like individuals who had achieved greatness in their lifetime. Look at all the iconic figures in the segment. Think Different gave us hope that these individuals would lead us into a better future, and that all we had to do was follow their lead.

Today is Presidents' Day - the 3rd Monday in February, and I'm here to tell you that each and every one of us is extremely special, because there is no one else exactly like us. This is why we all have the potential to be great revolutionaries like some of these iconic personalities.

If we change our thoughts, we will change the world around us. If we change our thoughts from negative to positive, not a single problem will remain unsolved.

The days of us looking up to presidents and exceptional individuals is over. We all have a special spark to share with the world and we don't need to be president to do that. All we need to do is agree to be part of the transition. What's the most powerful thing we'll discover once we begin this process? How the more willingly we participate in our transition to the new era, the faster we'll discover the special attributes of each of the participants - including ourselves. As we expand our perception of what's possible, we'll come to know ourselves on a much deeper level than ever before.

People really resist this change because they sense that taming the ego will involve having to give up their individuality. But when we learn to overcome these obstacles together, we get a huge boost of EQ together. More premium fuel for the exciting journey ahead of us.

We can change our world. If we start nurturing a different culture—embracing diversity, encouraging originality, supporting cooperation, and rewarding displays of solidarity—our world will instantly change from bad to good. We won’t need to worry about what we should or shouldn’t do; we will only need to worry about what to think or not to think.

With all due respect to the great leaders we've seen throughout history, none of them have focused on the core problem, the malfunction that generates all that is negative in our world: our thoughts. If we change our thoughts, we will change the world around us. If we change our thoughts from negative to positive, not a single problem will remain unsolved.

We could argue that we can’t control our thoughts, that they pop up in our brain. But we can choose a social environment that will impact our thoughts in a positive manner.

If we are born into an environment that says you’re only as good as your last conquest, then we will have no choice but to become ruthlessly competitive until we exhaust ourselves to death. In the process, we will destroy everything around us: people, animals, plants, and minerals. Currently, this is more or less the way we all behave, which is why the world is such a mess.

We cannot change our thoughts by ourselves. But together, there is nothing we can’t achieve. This is why having the right environment is so crucial for our development.

Yesterday I mentioned a comment here in Israel by a woman who was wondering why she needed to go on a retreat and bond with people who passed her in the hallway once a year? It takes a long time for this to be fully absorbed, but once we start thinking about how to optimize our environment, the more we realize the importance of bonding with other individuals. Whether those individuals are co-workers, superiors, or total strangers, we are all equal in the circle. And especially equal in our untapped human potential.
