Your article shows the importance of local culture and responsibility for allocating blame (police). Another barrier is 90% or more of data offers no insight/value- it's just noise. Paying for noise is not a good policy.The trend to connected autos, customer assistance services, and longer term autonomous cars and car subscription rather than ownership could be a tipping point to telematics adoption. That assumes, of course, that car ownership and lease rather than own follows a similar path to Europe & US which may not be the case.??

6 年The OEMs will be the main route to adoption. The way to go is a device agnostic platform to receive and analyse the data.
