The outcomes of this issue may boil down to the answers to three questions.

?            What steps need to be taken to secure sustainable programs funding?

?            Are there opportunities for innovative collaborative partnerships among and between community organizations, federal agencies, corporations, and foundations?

?            What steps need to be taken for the US to insure African American and Latinos to become a more viable share of the science/engineering workforce?
