Put your hand up if your organisation is NOT dealing with some form of question about the future of interior built environment space? We'd be surprised to see any hands raised, in this post-COVID-19 world, as it seems most people are wrestling with questions about work from home spaces, travel to/from work spaces, their commercial office spaces, public spaces, spaces they occupy, visit, own or rent out.
Some need more space to live in, to work in, to take a private moment in, whilst others are now saddled with seemingly redundant, excess, unwanted or unwieldy space. And there's not too many simple answers to what really seems to call for a radically big think about the immediate, short term and longer term future of built environment space and our relationships to it.
At Forward Thinking Design we've already been hard at work (for several months) researching, discussing and collaborating on projects to tackle these questions, and so we've decided to share with you our practical findings and thoughts so far, and to open up this conversation more broadly, since it's a conversation we all need to be having. Collectively, our solutions will always be stronger than working only singularly and the same questions around the future of space are being raised everywhere.
We'd like to invite you to follow our social media channels, share with us and engage in the conversation as we kick off this thought leadership series of posts, articles and discussions about the future of space...
