This weekend, we will be partnering with the Battle Creek Post Office for the National Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive. ?? As a reminder, if you received a Stamp Out Hunger bag in the mail, please be sure to have your food donations out by your mailbox on Saturday. ?? In addition to our emergency distribution in Portage today, we will also be hosting a distribution on Friday, May 10th in Centreville. We are committed to supporting our community during this difficult time. Join us in spreading warmth and hope to our neighbors in the midst of this severe weather crisis.

Our hearts go out to those affected by the severe storms yesterday in Southwest Michigan. We stand with you during this challenging time. We will be hosting an emergency food distribution tomorrow, Thursday, May 9th in Portage to support our neighbors amidst this tragedy. Specific items will be available to accommodate those who are experiencing power outages. In times of hardship, community is our greatest strength. Let's continue to stand united! ??

To fight hunger tomorrow, we need everyone's help today, and our friends at Jaqua Realtors continue to take up the call. With their help, we packed 675 fresh food boxes and 3,024 pounds of cereal was sorted and labeled in our clean room! Thank you to the entire team at Jaqua for spending the day with us. The sandwiches from the PB&J challenge were donated to our friends at The Haven! The Haven's Tina Crisher accepted nearly 1,500 PBJ sandwiches to be distributed to their various ministries.
