Future is a question paper

Regarding time, I have read in the various books by Swami Vivekananda that Time stretches infinitely towards the past and infinitely towards the future. Every creation and dissolution are repeated in cycles. So there is high chance that same things would happen over and over again. That is why there is whole dedicated branch of studies for Astrology. Secondly there are two basic concepts known as Prarabdha and Purushartha. These two should be studied together as they are always linked. Prarabdha tells that certain things are going to happen in your life. They are fixed. Purushartha is your free will. You can move towards your destination by Purushartha but you have to carry the load of Prarabdha.
I would like to give one example to explain Prarabdha and Purushartha. There is a boat in the river stream. Suppose that boat is not propelled by any force. Still it moves due to the flow of the current. This river current force is Prarabdha and Boat propulsion is Purushartha. That is why they must have coined the term going with the flow. Therefore, I would say if you do not exert your free will, future is certainly fixed for you. However if you make choices and exert free will, no matter in what direction, future is uncertain and depends on you.
But also I think that future is certain in a way and it will come. With you or without you. So here is the case: death is uncertainly certain. It will come certain but when? That no one knows. That is only uncertainty in our life. As long as for future, it depends on us how we make ourselves to be able to live with things. Which are Good or bad or collectively or individually. For instance, if I choose to be good guy and be a good visionary, there are more chances of good future. but there is always a twist. I think it is god's propaganda to test us by putting us in odd situations and circumstances just to find we deserve something good or not.
If we assume this world a classroom and we as students, problems as questions and god as examiner, future as a result. We have rather to face the problems and find fix for them than to be worried for result and panicking around. You cant make your future but you certainly can shape it well
If you really think deeply what is your education giving you in life? A single sheet of paper is the proof called ID card or passport that you as a person exist. If there is no paper that says that you exist, then for all means and purposes, you don’t exist at all. Right from the day we are born till the time we die and even after death, our fortunes depend on the papers that we have. Birth certificates prove that we are alive. Education certificates prove that we are educated. Employment certificates say that we were or are currently employed. Marriage certificates prove that we are in a relationship.
Death certificates prove that we are dead. And last but not least, have to mention the most important piece of paper that controls our lives in every possible manner “money.” To put it in a perspective, our entire existence itself depends upon the papers that we have about ourselves. Sad but true. A famous proverb “Tomorrow is my Exam, but I don't' care because a single sheet of paper can't decide my future.” Most of the students these days follow this proverb. This quote is also marked as said by the famous scientist Thomas Edison.
I do not know if the proverb is really from Edison and it may even be valid for him, but is it really valid for us people? I mean to say that we cannot compare ourselves from Thomas Edison. He was a man of patience who even after failing 1000 times, didn't leave the hope. He had that confidence, but do we have the same? Then, how can we say or validate the above proverb. No, we can't and we shouldn't. Instead, we must try to be more real and try to understand the reality.
Suppose, you are going to appear in your final board exams and for whatever reason, you couldn't appear in the exam hall on time. What now? Isn't your future compromised? I am not saying that your future is no more and you are finished. It is not like that. But, you have just missed an opportunity to make your future better. So, what are your options now? In general, you won't be allowed to re-appear in the exam the same year. This means you have just wasted one year of your life.
This answer is not aimed at frightening students, but to make them realize the importance of the exams and exam results. Yes, there are many people who have made great achievements in life even if they didn't score well in their academics, but this is not true for everyone. And if you really want to increase your chances of getting succeeded in your life, you must know the importance of the exam paper.
The proverb if it was really said by Mr. Thomas Edison is meant to give hope to people who couldn't do well in their academics. The proverb is meant to encourage such people. One must not take it in the wrong way. Hard work is the key to success and there is no shortcut to it. It depends on what is written in it. Blank paper lets you plan and explore opportunities from your mind’s standpoint.
The degree certificate printed on it, makes you a degree holder and it can decide many things - career to start with. A birth certificate will stand in testimony of your date of birth which is practically everything in many ways. Similarly, reports, records, challans, rupee notes, and many things that are printed on a single piece of paper have more value at that point for a given reason and at that point means everything for your future next step. So it all depends on what is written in the paper you are holding and what the writing means to your life! Cheers!
